About Me
Greetings! Thanks for visiting! One of the first things you will discover about me is that I have many different experiences and skill sets ranging from sports to art; from organizing to implementing; from planning to creating. All of this combines into something that is uniquely me.
I graduated from Centre College in 2009 with a degree in Design and Culture. The program consisted of classes in anthropology, English, computer science, art history and studio art. I love to explore how words and pictures interact to impact people in a way that motivates them. My final project at Centre was a senior art show - you can take a look at it in the studio art and artist statement pages to the left. So do I want to be an artist? Nope.
Recently, I worked as a Marketing Graduate Assistant with the University of Kentucky Athletics Department and graduated in May 2011 with a Masters in Sports Leadership. "What the heck is that," you ask? Well, the Sports Leadership program at UK is in its infancy and offers classes like Sports Law and Event Management. I've even supplemented my degree by taking extra marketing classes.
My experience at UK was invaluable. To see some of my work, please check out the portfolio to the left which includes designs and solutions the University of Kentucky has adopted and are currently using. For a complete list of my accomplishments and experiences, please peruse my resume...or better yet, ask me!
You are most likely visiting this site because you’ve seen my resume with the web address on it, which means I probably applied for a position you are entrusted to fill. Trust me, I love to learn. Give me an opportunity and I will run with it.
